Quiet Desperation Act Three, Episode One: “Brighton Wellness Center”

After having a nervous breakdown during the social at New Alliance Rob has been committed to the Brighton Wellness Center for recovery. Unfortunately there’s more drugs in the center than there was at the parties Robert frequents. It’s up to Doctor Chris Coxen to help Robert recover from years of shitty jobs and creative failure. Meanwhile Rob has vistors such as Shaun, Bigg Nez, and Morgana, along with Michael and Sophia. Will Rob ever get out??

Quiet Desperation Act Two, Episode Four: “Genesis Bold As Klaus”

Robert ruins his chances of getting his band exposure when he uses their set time at the WBCN Rumble (see Episode 19 for rumble story) to talk about the evils of corporate radio and is banned from it. He spends his days in a manic haze of different personalities at house parties he’s throwing with close friends to forget things while he enters a “goth-y period.” During this time he visits Casey to sing some Klaus Nomi and lament past relationships… This gets lame quick and so Casey gets Robert to explain Sarah and sing some more Klaus Nomi and everything seems to get okay…

Once again, Travis Simpkins captures the characters of Quiet D in his stunning artwork. Coinciding with the premiere of Quiet D’s Act Two, Travis has created another fantastic portrait of the diverse world of Quiet D.

In his own words:

I truly believe Quiet D is an important showcase for the diverse talent that resides in the area and deserves to be enjoyed, commended and appreciated. It really is a needed kick in the pants to the Arts scene as a whole.
