Episode Summary
Episode 1

Episode 01: “Renaldo!”

Quiet Desperation is the story of some crazy adventures in the Allston, MA arts scene — and even crazier characters. Shaun (Bedgood) is trying to get Robby (Rob Potylo) to focus on his work, but Mehran (Khaghani) keeps providing enticing distractions — both chemical and otherwise. Featured in this first episode is Great Scott’s in Allston, MA; Staples, and Everett, MA.

Episode 2

Episode 02: “I Like Cats!”

This episode touches on horny animals, the Boston Globe, and WAAF. Here, we meet a few members of the local media, while Nikki and Robby try to move forward with the first Super Time Pilot album under the watchful eye of Shaun Bedgood — who will do anything it takes to avoid going back to working at a shitty fast-food joint.

Episode 5

Episode 05: “Put Out The Fire”

A cook-out, a landscaping crew, Herrell’s Ice Cream, shitty dudes, emo folk singers, the EMF building, New Alliance studios, the Pill @ Great Scott’s, and the proper care of a baby…what do these things all have in common? They all make up a part of Episode 5. Robby and Nikki mend some fences just as Go Green Go Landscaping takes over the Stronghold.

SIX

Episode 06: “Kickball!”

In this episode the local A&R reps take on the Boston music scene in a thrilling battle of athletic prowess on the kickball fields; the viability of Harvey the weed plant (recently discovered to be a female plant) is discussed, and we spend a bit more time at The Comedy Studio in Cambridge, Mass. Mehran tries to guide Rob’s career and affections, while Robby and Nikki discuss how to fund the album production and Tom Dustin takes to the kickball green.

Episode 07: “Hello Kitty”

The aftermath of the kickball extravagganza, hardcore rap groups, Revere Beach, Tin Tin Buffet, tapping into the Asian Market, why the pigeon burrows, bisexuality and more! Find out how the A&R team is handling their crushing defeat and check out part of the first (only?) single by Tin Tin Buffet!

Episode 08: “Do You Believe In Magic?”

Now that the album is finished, Robby can’t seem to focus on promoting and Brett provides to be too distracting. This episode also features puppeteers, sex, magic, ducks, Revere Beach, Tin Tin Buffet, Golden Tee, fingering and bisexuality!

See the shock jocks, local music message boards, and Robby selling a song to Wes Anderson and jam space parties as the countdown to the rumble begins.
